First Lutheran Church will be celebrating its 100th Anniversary next month! Our official date of incorporation was May 8, 1908. We have been blessed for a century with faithful members, pastors, and friends.
The saints that have gone on before us built a community that is caring, and devoted to mission and studying God's Word. With their guidance from the Holy Spirit, they witnessed many miracles from God. Their vision for First Lutheran has been carried on by the faithful people that are still here experiencing God's undying love, mercy, peace, joy, and grace.
We have seen ups and downs that have strengthened us. We continue to see miracles in individual lives. We know and can feel the Holy Spirit among us.
You faithful people of God need to know that you are appreciated for serving on ministries, praying for those in need, taking time to work with the young people, giving of your time and talents, and for the wonderful worship when we come together to praise our Lord and Savior.
There are numerous occasions for us to celebrate on our special weekend:
We praise God for being with us through this incredible journey. In this 100th anniversary year, we find ourselves working to deepen our commitment to Jesus Christ and to a vision of what First Lutheran can do in the future by the grace of God.
