Pastor Dennis & Cathy will be away on vacation Monday, July 17 through Sunday, August 13th.  Many thanks to Joe Johnson, Pastor Jim Wallace, Ethan Bergman and Pastor Phylis Stromme for preaching and leading worship on the Sundays he’s away.

Huge thanks to everyone who helped serve summer lunches to hungry kids in the parks this past week: McCoy/Leases, Bosses, Mertens Clyburns, Debbie Butler and Keiths.  Our FISH Fodd Bank expects to serve over 10,000 lunches to kids at 4 parks in Ellensburg, Kittitas, Cle Elum and Roslyn.

FISH food bank is currently looking for new volunteers to join their team this summer. It is a great opportunity to serve the Ellensburg community while simultaneously gaining great volunteer experience to add to your resume. If you're interested, contact Jennie at jennie@kvfish.org or call the food bank at 509-925-5990. You can also come on down and fill out an application! 1513 North B street behind Mercer Creek Church.

FISH has a shortage of certain foods and we'd like your help to fill them!  Canned fruit, canned ravioli, canned chili and mac n' cheese.  Please buy the pop-top cans if possible.  You can drop them by FISH during our working hours.  Check out our website www.kvfish.org/hours-of-operation/ for those hours.

FISH special giving for the month of June was $24.05.

Youth Activities

An enormous thank you to the youth and adults who helped with serving lunch last week!  So many children were well fed and our participation makes it possible!  Did you know that the FISH food bank not only served at parks within Ellensburg, but in Kittitas, Cle Elum, and Roslyn as well?  They are awesome!!

Saturday – FLC Youth Swim! Time to make a splash at Memorial Pool!  7:30 pm to 9 pm all ages, 9 -10 pm ages 13 and up.  $3.00 for ages up to 18 and $6 for 18 and older.

Coming up:

Hike on July 26

Bring in Fellowship goodies July 30

**Remember there will be no “Chill Out at the Church” this Wednesday night.  To compensate, we will have TWICE as many water balloons on August 9!
