Holy Week Worship Services

April 17th Maundy Thursday 7p.m. “Maundy” comes from the Latin “Mandatum”

meaning command. As Jesus humbly washes his disciples’ feet he gives them a new command “love one another.”

We also celebrate the Lord’s Supper, remembering that it was on this night that Jesus shared the bread and wine with the words “This is my body: This is my blood.”

April 18th Good Friday 7p.m. We read the crucifixion of Jesus from John 18-19. As the light fades and the candles are extinguished, we hear the 7 last words of Jesus from the cross.
