Thank you to all the youth and adults for providing Easter Breakfast today. And thanks to all for your donation of food, candy, and flowers. The monetary donations are given to FLC Youth Fund.

 

“Messiah” performance Sunday, April 27th at 4p.m. at  CWU Concert Hall featuring CWU Chamber Orchestra and Chamber Choir.

 

Grace Meyer’s Memorial will be held Friday, April 25th 2:oop.m. here at FLC.

 

Sunday School classes resume next Sunday, April 27.

 

Ushers are needed for May and June. There is a sign up sheet on the bulletin board near the kitchen. If you’re available to help, please sign up with your name and phone number. Ushers distribute programs as people enter the sanctuary, help collect the offering, and count the number of people attending. It’s a great way to say hello to old friends and maybe meet some new ones.

 

April 27th, immediately after worship.  Lutheran Campus Ministry Fund Raiser Spaghetti Dinner.  Please help us by signing up on the sheet in the fellowship hall so we have an estimate as to how much food to prepare.  This is free will offering, and will be prepared by LCM students.  All offerings up to $500 will be matched by Thrivent

Lutheran Campus Ministry exploring Faith - meets Thursday, May 1st @ First Lutheran @ 5:00 pm for dinner and discussion of Rob Bell's CD "Today"  


SUNDAY'S May 4, 11, 18, 25, after worship.  What does it mean to be a Lutheran Christian?  Sunday's during May Pastor Ginny Krekling will lead discussions on key beliefs of the Lutheran Church as well as some insights into several other Faith denominations.  We'll talk about the ELCA, our national church body, and how our understandings are similar and different from other Lutheran bodies.  If you haven't looked at these issues since you were confirmed or if like many you have never had a chance to discuss your faith in a safe setting these classes are for you.  If you are interested or want more information please sign up on the sheet in the fellowship hall or call, text or message GINNY.
