Thank you to Ginny Krekling for preaching today.

Thank you to Judy Ragland for playing the organ today.

Flowers for today are provided by Harry & Mike Kukes in honor of their 69th Wedding Anniversary.

Church Potluck lunch on August 24th after Worship we have invited First Christian to join us here at First Lutheran. Bring a dish to share and meet our neighbors.

Help those affected by the NW fires:  After consultation with Lutheran Disaster Response, our synod has opened a restricted account at ELCA Region 1 where folks and congregations can send checks to support those who have been devastated.  As funds come in, the Region 1 office will be in touch with the local congregation/local contact where they know the agencies working for relief and the local needs.  We will also partner up with Catholic Charities, Red Cross, and the Salvation Army.  Kittitas County of Thrivent will match funds given up to $500.  Please mark your donations as “NW Fires.”

Sound System:  Would you like to help people hear the church service?  Do you like to push buttons and move levers up and down?  We are looking for people to operate the sound system.  If you are interested or have questions see James Stolte or leave your name in the church office.  Training will be provided.  High school youth are encouraged to think about it.

While Pastor Dennis is on vacation, Pastor Mary Johnson will handle any emergencies August 10-17. Please contact the office for her number.

Our Radio Fund is depleted. Many of our homebound members, as well as folks in the community, enjoy hearing our Sunday Worship Services. Can you contribute to help keep this ministry going? Simply write your check to First Lutheran Church and note “Radio Fund.” Thank you!
