Thank you to Ethan Bergman for leading worship today.

Thank you to Evie Boss, for her solo today.

Flowers for today are provided by Doug and Minda Fessler in honor of their 2nd wedding anniversary.

Potluck with our Friends at First Christian Church Sunday, August 21st. Again this year we will have a potluck with our friends across the street at First Christian Church. This year First Lutheran will be hosting it here, since they did last year. Please bring some food to share: main dish, salad or dessert.

Potluck on Monday, August 22nd at 5:30p.m. at FLC.  Come bring a dish to share and wish our Chinese friends well, as they head back home. All are welcome!

A HUGE THANK YOU for all the donations of fresh fruit and vegetables everyone is bringing in right now.  It is amazing the amount of fresh produce that is coming in right now. FISH is running low on the following items:
Canned soups
Canned vegetables of all kinds
Pasta noodles
Dry beans
Rice
Peanut Butter
Canned Chili

Thank you so much for your support!

FLC will take a turn cooking and serving the FISH Food Bank Dinner this Saturday, August 20th. We start cooking and prepping at 3p, serve at 5p and are usually all cleaned up by 6:20. Please, let Judy Ragland, 964-2101 know if you can help.

Youth Activities

Today:  Hike the Snoqualmie Tunnel!  The youth are taking a daring and dark adventure through the Snoqualmie Tunnel after church today.  We should have some great stories when we get back!

Ongoing:  School Supply Drive!  We are avidly collecting school supplies for those in need within our county.  Our donations are greatly appreciated by the teachers and administrators, but truly treasured by the students who have fresh, new supplies to start their academic year with.

Did you know?  Our very own Winter and Wickerath families were involved in the 2016 Jr. Rodeo on August 6.  I saw Julie's name on the main website!  Also, all three Johnsons plus their cousin won first place at the Ellensburg Youth Film Competition!  Keep your eyes and ears open - we have talented youth in our congregation doing incredible things!

Coming Soon:

End of Summer Late Night Party!  Water balloons, homemade ice cream, watermelon eating contest, more!  August 26 starting at 6 p.m.
