FISH Adopt a Shelf Program ….Soup…. This summer June, July and August, First Lutheran is participating in FISH Food Bank’s adopt a shelf program.  If possible, these need to be pull-top cans of soup.  This shelf holds all kinds of soups, from broth to hearty vegetable to meaty Italian wedding soup.  Please just bring them to church with you and fill our food bank box by the office door.  We need to provide at least 50 cans a week.

Our FLC Women’s Retreat is planned for Sept. 28-30 at Lazy F.  We still need registration forms and fees ($110) from a few who were interested in attending the retreat.  Please bring your form and fee to the church office as soon as possible.  Thank you!!!

Prayer Vigil for keeping families together.  Monday-Thursday 9a.m.-noon at First Lutheran and noon to 3p.m. at United Methodist. Anyone is invited to come in for silent prayer.  We pray that children will soon be  reunited with their parents and better immigration practices will prevail.  And pray for whatever is on your heart and mind for a few minutes, half an hour or whatever you have time for.
