Thank you to Ginny Krekling for preaching today.

In a letter to Bishop Renard Mtenji in Ulanga Kilombero. our Bishop Martin Wells recently wrote: "At our Synod Assembly, we voted to raise the money to assist you in finishing the dining hall and assembly hall at the Tuumaini School.  We are going to begin to ask our members to contribute to this fund  in Sept. and I believe we will be able to send you half of the amount you need in January 2016.  ($50,000)"

Volunteers are sought to assist in the Kittitas County Habitat for Humanity mission of creating affordable housing. Help is needed in four possible project areas -- landscaping at the facility at 212 S. Railroad Ave.; volunteering to work in the store; organizing the outside donation area at the store; or participating in Brush With Kindness, a fall project re-painting or improving landscaping at previous Habitat built homes. For more information, please contact Patty Akers of the FLC Outreach Ministry, akers12@charter.net, or visit with Outreach Ministry members after Sunday service.

Pastor Dennis and his family will be away on vacation Monday, July 13 through Sunday, August 9th.  Pastor Ginny Krekling will be preaching and leading worship on the Sundays he’s away.  Ginny is also available to handle any emergencies should they arise.  Her number is (404)312-7345.

Don’t forget F.I.S.H. Food Bank this summer. Current needs are: cereal, rice, beans (dry or canned), canned fruit, canned veggies, soup, peanut butter, spaghetti noodles and sauce, tuna fish and mac & cheese. Fresh fruit and veggies are always welcome too.

Just a reminder, no Council Meeting on Monday, August 10th.

Knitters beware:  I heard a rumor that yarn may be donated and coming soon!  I would love to share this yarn - they would make lovely hats and scarves to those who need extra warmth this upcoming winter.
