Change is coming to the Sunday School Education Hour.  Starting TODAY it will be at 11:30a.m not at 9:00a.m. and will be for Adults and Middle/High Schoolers (yes, together in one room).  The 9:00 hour does not work for Middle/High School and has not been working well for adults either, so we’ll try meeting after worship in the Chapel from 11:30-12:15.  We will start with Dan Erlanders great little overview of the Bible “Manna & Mercy.”

The 2019 end of year financial statements are available to be picked up in the fellowship hall.  If you do not see yours there or did not receive it via email, let James Stolte or the church office know.

Annual Meeting of First Lutheran Church: Sunday, Jan 26th

Our youth will be serving a baked potato bar.  Immediately after lunch we will have our annual meeting, the main purpose of which is to pass an annual budget and elect church council members.  So we need all voting members to stay for a brief meeting.  (If you are an adult or a confirmed youth, you are a voting member.)

Annual Reports due by January 14th

If you head up a ministry or lead a group, please submit a brief written report for our annual report packets.  It doesn’t have to be long, just tell us what you have been doing this past year as a way of celebrating your good work.

Budget Forum January 19th Our budget forum, will be Sunday, January 19th in the fellowship hall.  If you have questions or input about the church budget, please come to the 9am budget forum on the 19th. (Don’t wait until the annual meeting.)

Sound Operators – Do you want to share your talent by helping with the Sunday morning service?  You can if you want to run the sound board (iPad) during the service.  If you are interested see James Stolte or leave your name with the church office.  James can show you the system so you can see what is involved before you decide.  Arrangements can be made to sit in at the sound station during the service to see it in action if you wish.  Youth are welcomed to participate.

The 2020 offering envelopes are ready to be picked up in the fellowship hall.  If you do not see a box set with your name on it and would like a box of envelopes, you can write your name and address on the sheet on the table by the envelopes and a box of envelopes will be there by the following Sunday.

Big Thank You to Estelle Johnson and crew for the great lunch after Don Morris memorial service yesterday.  And thanks to everyone who brought food and helped out.
