Confirmation Classes Resume on Wed Jan 6th We didn’t meet in December, but this is just a friendly reminder that Confirmation classes resume on Wed Jan 6th at 6:30 pm.  There will be no class on Jan 13th, but please come to the youth fun night that day.  Classes continue on Jan 20 and 27 and our winter retreat at Lazy F is Fri Jan 15 through Sat Jan 16.  It looks like we will probably have some snow fun this year!

Winter Youth Retreat: During MLK Weekend, FLC Youth will travel to Lazy-F Ranch for a couple days away in the snow. It will be a time for play and learning, including running in the woods, tubing, skating, and avoiding snowballs. This year we plan to cover confirmation lessons, so bring your Bibles and notebooks. So Confirmation Students, we need you there! There will be a $30/per person cost, due Sunday, January 10thBegins 4:00 Friday, January 15th.  We’ll return to the church after supper Saturday night. (Scholarships available if the cost is a hardship; see Pastor Dennis.)

Youth Activities

One more thank you for the gloves, hats, and scarves that were donated.  This winter is giving plenty of opportunities to have those items come in handy!

Coming soon:

Confirmation Retreat!  I don't want to jinx us, but I think we will need extra socks and snow gear for this one!

Hot Potato!  Check out the Youth Board and sign up for our Annual Potato Bar Fundraiser!

Q: Why do potatoes make good detectives? A: Because they keep their eyes peeled.
