Vacation Bible School is right around the corner!  SAVE THE DATES:  Sunday, June 28 through Thursday, July 2 each evening from 6:00—8:15p.m. Registration forms and a parent letter can be found in the fellowship hall.  To all—please check out the sign-up board to bring cookies, help with a meal, or to help in other areas.  Children age 4 through those entering 6th grade are invited!

Helpers are needed for the Summer Lunch Program for kids. Again this summer our F.I.S.H. Food Bank will be cooking up nutritious lunches for kids and serving them at Mountainview, Kiwanis and North Alder Parks, as well as Kittitas. Churches take a week during the summer to help serve. FLC’s turn to help serve is July 6-10? Mountainview 11:30, North Alder 12:00, Kittitas 12:00 and Kiwanis 12:30.

Join Faith Action Network for the Yakima Spring Summit on Sunday, June 14th at Wesley United Methodist Church of Yakima from 3 PM to 5 PM.  This event provides a time for bringing the issues that you care about to the conversation and taking part in setting the framework for FAN's upcoming legislative work. There is no cost to attend the summit, so be sure to invite a friend (or several)! If you plan on attending please be sure to RSVP for the summit.

Host Families Needed: Again this summer youth from the Chernobyl area will be coming to Ellensburg from July 2- Aug 6th.  Three host families are still needed (the youth are in host's homes for about 4 weeks). This is a very gratifying experience!!  Mrs. Cec Calhoun, 925-3888, can talk to you if you are interested.  If you cannot be a host the whole time, she is also interested in hearing from you.  Think about this!!  Pray about this!!
