Flowers for today are provided by Don & Donna Morris in honor of Don’s birthday.

 

$615 was raised for the Oso Mudslide relief of which $500 is being matched by Thrivent. Thank you to all who donated to this cause.

 

A Memorial Service for Ian Smith is being planned for Saturday, June 14th, 2:00p.m., here at FLC.

 

Vacation Bible School:  June 29-July 3 for kids age 4 to those entering 6th grade.  Please see the table in the fellowship hall for details and registration forms.  There is also a sign-up on the easel for various ways to help out.  Can you be a cookie-baker,  provide food for a night, or to be a crew or station leader?  Lots of open positions, your help is needed and appreciated very much!

Youth Activities

 

Sunday, June 8th:

· Today after church:  We are serving up the Sundaes!!  Our Sundae Sunday Fundraiser will help cover the costs for our trip to Seattle.  It's time to get sticky! Thrivent will be matching what the Youth raise up to $300.


Wednesday, June 11th

· Sports-n-S'mores  -come for the games, stay for the s'mores and homemade ice cream!

 

Friday, June 13th:

· Last day of school!  WOOHOO!  Summer break begins!


 Tuesday, June 17th:

·  FLC Youth Trip to Seattle

 

             Don't forget your donations for Children's Seattle Hospital.  Those kiddos love to get a distraction from their treatment and ailments!  Check the list on the Youth Board for items needed most by the patients.  The box will be emptied weekly.  We will be taking our gifts to the hospital June 17th.
