Austin James Wickerath was baptized in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit on March 4, 2017. Congratulations, Austin!


FISH Dinner Service Saturday, March 18th At FISH Food Bank First Lutheran will take a turn cooking and serving the evening meal for FISH Food Bank on Saturday, March 18th. We start cooking at 3 pm and serve the dinner at 5 pm.  Clean up usually takes less than an hour. Come for all or part of it as your schedule allows.  Please let the office 925-2844 or Patty Akers know if you are available to help out. The dinner is cooked at FLC and then transported to the Food Bank.


The Wednesday Soup and Bread Supper will be hosted this week by members of the Property Management and Stewardship Ministries.  Please join us at 6:00 p.m. for a delicious meal at 6:40.  Since 2017 is “Reformation 500” year we will view Lutheran travel host Rick Steve’s recent DVD on the Reformation.  Later in Lent we’ll do some review of Luther’s teachings on the 10 Commandments, Baptism, Lord’s Supper, Apostles’ Creed,  and Lord’s Prayer in his small catechism.  Then at 7:10 pm we’ll move into the sanctuary for a 20 minute Holden Evening Prayer service.  Come as you are to these fun and informal evenings of good food, fellowship, Bible study and worship.  LAST SUNDAY!!! Make up Photography Day If you were not able to have your picture taken back in October/November for our church photo wall, please plan to do so on Sundays, March 5 or 12 after worship.  Randy Uhl will be snapping photos in the fellowship hall and we hope to have everyone’s smiling face.
