The Wednesday Soup and Bread Supper will be hosted this week by members of the Property Management Ministry and Brett Koss.  Please join us at 6:00 p.m. for a delicious meal followed by a study session and the Holden Evening Prayer Service.  

 

Last Supper Drama:  Will hold practice on Tuesday, March 27th at 7:00p.m.

 

All at First Lutheran are invited to a Tuesday noontime Lenten video presentation and discussion group on Tuesdays from 12:00 to 1:00 at Grace Episcopal Church.  We will be using the book and video "Making Sense of the Cross" by David Lose.  David Lose is a professor at Luther Seminary.  Bring a sack lunch if you wish, and plan to attend all or some of the sessions, every Tuesday during Lent. The book "Making Sense of the Cross" by David Lose is available through Amazon or Augsburg Fortress.

 

Easter Breakfast/ Easter Egg Hunt:: You may have already noticed a number of sign-up sheets in the Fellowship Hall. It’s time to prepare for our annual Easter Breakfast and Easter Egg Hunt. If you can

provide food, candy, and/or labor, we could use your help. Set-up for Easter Breakfast will be on Holy Saturday, April 7, from 3:30–4:30.

Youth Sunday School: Sunday School returns on April 1 for Palm Sunday. As the Youth will be serving Easter Breakfast on April 8, this in our last Sunday School class for the Lenten season. Be sure to come. 9:00–9:45 a.m.

Youth Event Schedule:
The March/April Event Schedules are available. Please pick one up and keep up with what’s going on with the Youth.

Event Planning Meeting:  Usually, our Youth Event Planning Meeting is the first Sunday of each month. With Palm Sunday and Easter (April 1 and 8) coming up, we’re postponing this meeting until after worship on April 15. Please be thinking about any special events you would be interested in for May and summer.

Lenten Youth Nights: Wednesday is our last joint Youth Night (with both high school and Confirmation students) of Lent. Come for Wednesday night “Bread and Soup” at 6:00 p.m. during Lent. When the church begins study and Holden worship (usually around 6:45), Youth are invited to a brief study and game time.
There will not be a Youth Night/Confirmation on Wednesday of Holy Week (April 4). Both Youth Night and Confirmation return to their regular schedules on Wednesday, April 11.
