FISH Dinner Service. It’s time to pass the torch! For the past several years Pastor Dennis has so graciously served as “chief cook and bottle washer” for the Saturday FISH dinners that First Lutheran has prepared, served and cleaned up. He  accepted the responsibility of scheduling the Saturday date, picking up the food, finding out what the menu would be, lining up volunteers and doing whatever else needed to be done to keep this Christian outreach going. Many thanks for all the months he has done this. The Outreach ministry is now  asking for volunteers who will each sign up for one Saturday per month and be willing to coordinate (with help) the FISH dinner for that month.  Please contact Patty Akers at akers12@charter.net , or Fred or Jean Cutlip at cutlipf@charter.net for more information.

Outreach says, "God Bless You, First Lutheran.  You provided 2,296 pounds of food during "Munch Madness"!!  The total amount of poundage donated by participating businesses,  schools, and churches was 24,470!!  That means our church's donation was just about 10% of the total, according to Randy Uhl.    Blessings on all of you for providing food for those who cannot feed themselves and their families.  At the FISH food bank, they must still be trying to find space on the shelves for all that food.  Thank you!".

Adult Sunday Class 8:45am in the Chapel. Starting April 3rd “Manna & Mercy: A Brief History of God’s Unfolding Promise To Mend the Entire Universe.” We’ll be reading through Pastor Dan Erlander’s great little book together. Come join in!

The beautiful Last Supper needlepoint in the Fellowship Hall (formerly in the Chapel) was made by Diane Malinski’s Mother. Diane has given it to First Lutheran Church. Thank you!  It’s beautiful!

Lutherhaven Ministries:  Hike, swim, crafts, sing, challenge course, archery, explore, canoe, campout, Bible encounters, new friends, campfires… sounds like fun, doesn’t it?  For 70 years tens of thousands of campers have attended Lutherhaven on beautiful Lake Coeur d’ Alene.  Weekly camps this summer are offered starting June 19 for grades 3-12 (five nights) and grades 1-2 (two nights).  Pick up a brochure on the kids’ table in the fellowship hall, find your camp program and register online.  Lutherhaven offers reduced pricing (see the brochure) and First Lutheran offers “Camperships” to each camper to help defray the cost.  In addition, Lutherhaven offers an early registration discount of $20 if paid by April 1.  For more info about FLC Camperships, please contact Carla Bergman.
