Thanks to all men who played a part in our Last Supper Drama on Thursday.  Special thanks to Sheila and Estelle Johnson for directing: Geraldine & Anneliese Childres, costumes, Betty Kramlich, organist, Carla Bergman, lighting, and James Stolte, sound operator.

 

Thank you to everyone who helped with the Easter Breakfast this morning!

 

F.I.S.H. Food Bank Open House: Sunday, April 21st 3-5 p.m. FISH would like to thank everyone for their generous support as they were able to put a down payment on the Snickelldoodle Building.

 

Sunday School classes for children and youth will resume next Sunday, April 7.

 

Confirmation Students and Parents: Reminder– classes resume this Wednesday, April 3rd at 6:30 p.m. We only have three classes left: April 3, 17, and 24. We won’t meet April 10th because of Lutherhaven Night on Tuesday, April 9th (Y’all come!) We will be doing a short unit on Reformation history and will basically be watching the movie “Luther” and discussing it. Parents cordially invited.

 

High School Youth Group: Resumes this Wednesday, April 3rd 6:30-7:30ish. Come join in!

All Church Potluck on Friday, April 12th at 5:30 p.m. in the fellowship hall.  Jean and Fred Cutlip are hosting two Tanzanian visitors from our sister synod.  Come meet them and enjoy good food and fellowship.  Please bring a dish to share.  Rolls and drinks will be provided.  Hope to see you there!

 

All Ministry Meeting will be Sunday, April 14th right after worship in the fellowship hall.  Anyone interested in the ministries of First Lutheran are invited to attend.  The ministries are: Worship and Music, Property Management, Outreach, Education, Youth, Congregational Life, and Stewardship.  Get a cup of coffee and a cookie and join a group at one of the tables.

 

Cluster Potluck with Bishop Wells at Christ Lutheran Church in Yakima on Sunday, April 14th at 3:00 p.m.  FLC is invited to join the other congregations of our cluster for this event.  Bishop Martin Wells will speak, and we will worship and sing together and enjoy a potluck supper.  Please bring some food to share.  You can catch a ride with Pastor Dennis if you like.  Christ Lutheran is at 5606 W. Lincoln Ave.
