Weekend Nutrition—We are in need of food for weekend nutrition bags for 20 children at Lincoln  Elementary and Damman School.  Please bring your donations and place them in the box under the coat rack near the sanctuary doors.  Examples include: Chef Boyardee cups, mac ‘n’ cheese cups, fruit or pudding cups, small crackers and cheese packs, basically anything that is easy for kids to open to eat for lunch or dinner.  Bags are assembled here every Thursday for delivery to Lincoln.  If you would like to donate money, we will buy the food—please write out your check to FLC and put “Weekend Nutrition” on the memo line.  Thank you for your support!

Kairos Outside (which helps women, who have a loved one that is or was incarcerated) will be using our facilities on April 13th for a training and April 26-28 for a weekend retreat. Kairos Outside is a weekend retreat intended to help strengthen the family unit and encourage small support groups.  Kairos of Eastern WA holds one weekend a year to provide a secure place for women to share their struggles. Not everyone feels called to this type of ministry or can make the time commitment that is needed to form a team. The women that attend (the guests) do not pay anything.  Team members are working throughout the year to raise funds to cover the expense of a three day weekend for up to 80 people. If you would like to help volunteer your time or for more information, please contact Michele Brown at 407-443-0682 or Micheled_brown@yahoo.com

Lutherhaven Brochures for Summer Camp 2019 are now available on the kids’ table in the fellowship hall.  The calendar provides camp dates for elementary kids through high school youth.  Located on beautiful Lake Coeur d’ Alene, campers build life-long memories, life-renewing relationships, and life-changing Christian faith.  Camperships are available to help defray the cost (info in church office).

FISH  has an urgent plea - we need volunteers tomorrow to help petition for the new bus routes.  FISH's new home isn't currently on the city bus routes and as many of you know, our clients use those buses extensively.  This job would be standing on the sidewalk (while not blocking it) and asking people who live in the city to sign a petition asking for that bus route.  Pretty simple.  You can even sign it yourself (if you haven't already).  Please email me at elise@kvfish.org or call at 509-925-5990 if you think you can help.  Times, 10 - 12 and 12 - 2.
