Last day of Sunday School and Adult Education is today Sunday, May 17.  Classes will resume in September!  A great big “Thank You” to all our teachers this year!

Next Sunday is Pentecost Sunday.  Wear something red to worship on May 24th if you have it.

Host Families Needed: Again this summer youth from the Chernobyl area will be coming to Ellensburg from July 2- Aug 6th.  Three host families are still needed (the youth are in host's homes for about 4 weeks). This is a very gratifying experience!!  Mrs. Cece Calhoun, 925-3888, can talk to you if you are interested.  If you cannot be a host the whole time, she is also interested in hearing from you.  Think about this!!  Pray about this!!

Youth Activities

Coming soon:  Sunday, May 31:  Putt Putt Golf in Yakima.  We will leave church at 1 and be back at 5.  Each round costs $5.50 for ages 13 and older, $5.00 for 12 and under.  Into video games?  Bring quarters for the arcade!  That’s the old school way!!

Knitters: Got yarn?   It’s never too early to be thinking about our mitten/scarf/hat tree!  The tree won’t be up until December, so there’s plenty of time to create décor for it.  Remember, the gift of warmth is the gift that keeps on giving!

Seniors:  Got pictures?  I’d love a copy!  Bring in your senior photo for the new Senior tribute board I will be creating.

It’s time to start planning for the annual overnight lock in!!!  I need adult volunteers to help me chaperone (broken down into 3 hour shifts).

Overnight lock in update:

Activities are falling into place – we have the Velcro wall and jousting unit confirmed!

Nerf gun battle is a go!

We need assistant chaperones and snacks!
