Thank you to Judy Ragland for playing the organ today.

Checkout the new bulletin board with photos of members and friends in the fellowship hall. If your smiling face isn’t up there, we would like it to be! (Please submit a 4x6 photo or email it to: flceburg@yahoo.com) Thanks to Christine Rice for all her work and to the Uhls for taking the photos.  P.S. Snap a photo of the big board with your smart phone.

High School Senior Blessing, next Sunday, June 4th 10 AM On Sunday, June 4th, we will be recognizing our high school seniors: Ellory Ferris, Laura Johnson, Sierra Smith, Tyler Ragland and Kiley Johnson. They will be given quilts lovingly made by our quilting ladies and we’ll have a prayer of blessing over them.  As usual, Pastor Dennis will do his 15 second interview with each graduate, so they can share with us their future plans.  We’ll have a cake in their honor after worship and an opportunity to visit with them then.

Eastern Washington/Idaho Synod has a new bishop: Kristen Kuempel!  Kristen is currently Pastor at First Lutheran in Kennewick (where Dennis’ mom is a member).  Kristen is smart, dedicated to Christ’s Church and a tremendous public speaker.  She will start her bishop duties in August. Congratulations to Martin Wells on his retirement form the office of Bishop after 18 years of faithful service.

Congratulations to Kara (Wickerath) and Eduardo Conteras, married yesterday!

Youth Activities

Just a reminder that the June 3 Swimming event has been cancelled!  We are scheduled to have one in July.

Stay tuned!  We are still waiting for dates and time to help pack and unpack for Bailey’s book store (looking at the week of June 12 through 16).  Need books for the summer? Stop by his shop and lesson the amount of books to pack!

Next weekend is Senior Recognition Sunday. Time to admire their new quilts and wish them well on their next journey!

VBS is the last week of June.  Get ready to lead a group or take on important roles to make VBS a success!
