National Day of Prayer, Thursday, May 7th noon at the Rotary Pavilion. There will be good music and good praying going on. Pastors (including Dennis) will be leading prayer topics, then we break into small groups for prayer time. We finish up by 1p.m. Come pray for our nation.

 

F.I.S.H. Food Bank News: Our food donations are down considerably and we need your help! We are running low on some of our staples like canned fruit, cereal, mac & cheese, canned soups and chili, fresh produce like potatoes and oranges. Thank you!


Youth Activities


May is the perfect month for community projects, helping worn out parents, and having fun outside!

 

Friday, May 8 – Parent’s night out!  6-9 p.m. I need Youth members to lead games, arts/crafts, and run around silly-nilly chasing kiddos!!  Meet at the church no later than 6 p.m.!

 

Wednesday, May 13 – Last Family Fun Night until September! 

We will be having a MOUNTAIN of fun!!

4:30-5:30 kids up to 4th grade

5:30 Sing-a-long fun with Pastor

5:45 Pizza dinner

6:30 -7:30 kids 5th grade and up

 

FLC Youth Lock In – June 12 I’m looking for chaperons and kids who are ready for fun….all night long!  It’s coming up quick – see Amy for details.

 

Do you knit?  It’s not too late to think of our mitten/scarf tree in December!  Homemade gifts are the best – especially the gift of warmth.  We’d love to decorate our tree with your summer creations!
