First Lutheran Church Quilt Sale Saturday, November 7th 9a.m. to noon and Sunday the 8th after worship.

New Members Class November 1, 8, 15, 22 Sundays after worship. Anyone who is interested in joining First Lutheran Church, or simply wants a little refresher on what Lutherans believe and do is invited to attend these four classes after Sunday worship services.  We’ll meet in the Chapel Room for an hour or less with Pastor Dennis and read together Dan Erlander’s great little book, “Baptized We Live.”  Please plan on attending all four classes if you can.  It’s a great time to ask questions and get to know some of your brothers and sisters in Christ.

Letter Writing and Bake Sale to benefit Bread for the World – November 15 after worship. Mark your calendar, stock your pantries and get ready for some baking indulgence!  Plan on showing your support to help make Bread for the World a voice that is heard in Washington.  Outreach ministry will supply stationary, pens, envelopes and stamps, along with the addresses of our representatives and sample letters to get you started on the letter writing. Baked goods will be supplied by the many excellent bakers among us!
