Anyone who is interested in joining First Lutheran Church, or simply wants a little refresher on what Lutherans believe and do is invited to attend these four classes after Sunday worship services, in the chapel.

We’ll meet for an hour or less with Pastor Dennis and read together Dan Erlander’s book, “Baptized We Live.”  Please plan on attending all four classes if you can.  It’s a great time to ask questions and get to know some of your brothers and sisters in Christ.

Consecration Sunday November 18th On that Sunday we will be completing our time and talent sheets, as well as our estimates of financial giving for 2018.  We will offer them to God during worship. The estimates of giving will be opened and seen only by our financial secretary, Jim Stolte.  (Jim, and only Jim, already knows what people give to FLC for your charitable giving tax info.)  Whether you are able to pledge a lot, a little, or somewhere in-between, every financial pledge counts for keeping the ministry of your church going.  Remember that God loves a cheerful giver and we do grow in faith and love as we give first to God in our lives.
