Bakers, next Sunday bring your baked goods to the church before worship, packaged and ready to go!  Outreach ministry will supply stationary, pens, envelopes and stamps, along with the addresses of our representatives and sample letters to get you started on the letter writing. During worship on Sunday, November 15th, you will have an opportunity to bring your confidential estimate of giving, also known as a financial pledge, forward to the altar. Pledges are returned unopened to you a year from now. Thank you to all who have turned in their time and talent sheets.  The basket is still on the kids table to receive more time and talent sheets. Please pick up your estimate of giving packet today after worship.

ARE YOU A THRIVENT FINANCIAL MEMBER? (It’s “Choice Dollar”time) If you are a Thrivent financial member it is time to choose where your “Choice Dollars” are to be sent before they disappear. If they are not directed by you each and every year either by calling Thrivent at their toll free number 1-800-847-4836 or sign in on their webpage at www.thrivent.com it disappears. We have 95 Thrivent members in our congregation and 35 of you are eligible to gift your Choice Dollars to the 501c3 of your choice. Many of you designate First Lutheran as that recipient. To date only $582 has been gifted compared to last years’ distribution of $1,243. So if you have not yet made your choice as to who is to receive this money and have any questions call the Thrivent number or contact Michael Krekling, the Congregational Advocate at First Lutheran. His cell 678-493-7300 or email him at krekling1@yahoo.com .
