New Members Classes Nov. 4, 11 Dec. 2, 9 Sundays after worship in the chapel.  Anyone who is interested in joining First Lutheran Church, or simply wants a little refresher on what Lutherans believe and do is invited to attend these four classes after Sunday worship services, in the chapel.

We’ll meet for an hour or less with Pastor Dennis and read together Dan Erlander’s book, “Baptized We Live.”  Please plan on attending all four classes if you can.  It’s a great time to ask questions and get to know some of your brothers and sisters in Christ.

Fall Yard Cleanup Saturday, Oct. 27 ~ 8:00 am to Noon

As the gardening season comes to an end, we say a special “Thank You” to our wonderful gardeners who have kept the flowers and grounds in the front of the church so beautiful all summer: Ida Malde, Bea Fairburn, and Doreen Day.

Special thanks also to Isak Bergman and Jim Stolte who have helped with the lawn mowing this year: you are appreciated!

Please come help on October 27th if you can.  Bring your gloves, rakes, clippers and other useful tools.  Pick-up trucks are always useful for hauling the leaves and branches away.  Please, no leaf blowers. Thank You!
