The time and talent sheets are being distributed today to everyone.  Please pray about your responses and let the Lord lead you.  If you haven't tried one of the areas, maybe now is the time for you to give a new gift.  We would really like the youth to fill these out also.  It's very important that every member of FLC has an opportunity to serve the Lord with joy.

Please fill this out and return by November 6th.

Pastor Dennis will be at the Bishop’s Convocation in Walla Walla, Monday, October 24th through Wednesday, October 26th. ( I’ll be back in time for Confirmation Class.)

The Fall Ball is planned this year for this Friday, Oct. 28 from 6:00-7:30 p.m.  Kids please wear your costume!  We’ll eat a light dinner and play lots of games.  All are asked to bring a can of food for FISH, our local food bank.  PLEASE SIGN UP to help at the party or to donate food items.  The board is on the easel in the fellowship hall.  Thank you!

Thank you to everyone who helped with Fall Clean-up yesterday. The grounds look great!

confirmed in the faith. Come hear their faith statements and be with them as they affirm their baptisms.

University Ministry: Do you have ideas for a university ministry, or are you interested in help organizing a student group? Once again this fall, FLC is blessed with several CWU students looking for ways to connect and grow. If you have time, ideas, and/or interest, please talk with Joe Johnson (or e-mail: flcyouth.eburg@gmail.com).

Youth Night: Youth Night is back to its regular time now that EHS Homecoming Week is over. We’re continuing our series on the minor prophets, spending time with Malachi and reading about God’s perspective towards how we worship and act. Wednesdays, 6:30 to 7:45.

Apple Cider: The Youth would like to extend a special “thank you” to Victor and Linda Strand. The Strands organized and hosted the Youth apple picking and pressing

yesterday. If you wish you had some of that cider, you’re in luck. Half-gallon jugs are

available after worship. Feel free to leave a donation. Note: remember that this cider is not pasteurized.

Fall Youth Schedule:
Watch for a new November/December Event Schedule, coming soon. For now, here’s a quick overview of events.
10/30 Corn Maze in Union Gap. Leaving FLC @ 4:35
11/4 Parents’ Night Out.
11/6 Event Planning Meeting
11/12 FISH foodbank/Bowling event.

Parents’ Night Out: We’re coming up on our third Parents’ Night Out, the first Friday in November. PNO is a chance for families with young children to get out for a few hours. The FLC Youth will host your kids, feed them, and play games through the night. The night lasts from 5:30 to 9:30. No donations or gratuities will be accepted. However, if you have interest in helping out with the event, please be sure to sign up. We need people to cook, supervise, and clean. Parents and volunteers are asked to sign up so that we plan food and supervision accurately.

Sunday School: Remember that the Youth Sunday School meets every week from 9:00 to 9:45. We continue working through common questions about our beliefs. Every week we take a vote on the next week’s main question (so far, we’ve explored, “Does God still

create stuff today?” “Why are there so many different Christian churches?” and “Can it be proven that God exists?” Don’t miss it.

Youth Updates: Do you want Youth updates through e-mail? If so, please e-mail Joe at flcyouth.eburg@gmail.com to be included on our news and events e-mail list. You can also watch the bulletin, the FLC web site, the Youth Facebook page, and the FLARE for more information.
