Thanks to Warren Street for changing furnace filters in June.
Add "Terrorism Insurance" to our policy with Church Mutual for $121/year?
Boiler inspection happening here later August.
I wil be on vacation July 18 through Aug 14. Warren Street will be preaching on Sundays July 24th and 31st. JulieAnna Boss will be preaching Aug 14th. Sheila Johnson preaches Aug 7.
Jennifer Campbell has resigned from council so we need to appoint someone to fill out her term which expires Jan 2024. Please pray for Jennifer, who is experiencing heart problems.
Thanks to Glenn Madsen for mowing the lawn and Bea and Ida for garden work.
I officiated at the Marisa Wickerath/Ben Titus wedding on Sat Jul 2 in Cle Elum. Rehearsal was the night before. I took July 5th off.
"God's Work/Our Hands" 2nd annual High Valley Cemetery clean up on Sat. Sept 10. (I think)
Carla Bergman is sorting through the library books (currently in the chapel) and I take the "discards" home, tear off the covers and put them in my recycling can.
I said "No" to hosting the Cold Weather Shelter here all the time this coming winter, even though we could receive significant "rent" money. There is a possibility we could host it one night a week, like we used to some years ago. Thoughts? By winter 2023-24, the hopeis for a permanent location for the shelter.
No August meeting? So, next meeting will be Tues Sept 13. Devotions?
Peace in Christ, Pastor Dennis
