Thank you and Praise God! Our mid week offerings during Lent totaled $1007 and were given to the ELCA Malaria Initiative. A treated mosquito net to keep an African family safe from Malaria at night only costs $10. So our offerings will buy quite a few mosquito nets. Thanks for your generosity! More on ELCA Malaria Initiative in May.
“Give $5 for F.I.S.H.” Sponsored by the local Rotary Club. FISH Food Bank is hoping to buy the building it is in. By eliminating a $2000/month rent payment, our food bank would be able to help a lot more people. An envelope is in your bulletin if you would like to help with this effort. Please make checks out to "Five for Fish". Thanks to everyone who already generously supports FISH. Also, if you are interested take some extra envelopes (on the table outside the sanctuary) for friends and family. Thank you!
The cupboard is bare again! Please sign up on the back of the kitchen door to bring cookies, sweet bread, fruit, or whatever you like for fellowship time after worship each Sunday. Your help is appreciated!
LET CONGRESS HEAR FROM YOU!
Suzanne Johnson and the Bible Adventures kids made a terrific poster for today's Bread for the World Offering of Letters! It is pinned up on the north wall of Fellowship Hall. Study it! You will be inspired! Then write! - everything you need awaits you.
If you wrote and mailed your letters already, please let someone on Outreach
Ministry know, so that we may count your letters in our report to BFTW. Thanks!
NO Adult Sunday Class on April 29th. Pastor Dennis will be at the Synod Assembly in Wenatchee.
Compassion Sunday is next Sunday, April 29. Please consider sponsoring a child through Compassion International. There will be a table set up in the fellowship hall for information about the program and how you can sign up to be a sponsor.

Thanks to everyone who helped with Spring Cleaning here yesterday. The place looks great.
Youth Night: Youth Night and Confirmation are coming to an end for the season. Our last regular YN and Confirmation will be this Wednesday, April 25, beginning at 6:30.
Super-Special More-Than-Youth Youth Night: We’re inviting middle high, senior high, and their parents (including younger siblings) to join us for our last Youth Night of the school year (May 2, beginning at 6:30). We’ll have a short devotional, eat some pizza, and leave plenty of time for games — a volleyball tournament, or perhaps something outside. Watch the youth Facebook page for more details, including RSVP notification that will help us plan for the right amount of food.
Summer Event Planning: We invite Youth, parents, and volunteers to join us after
Worship on Sunday, May 6 for an Event Planning Meeting. Our hope is to pencil in a summer Youth activity schedule. Events may include hikes, service projects, small group studies, games, and other activities. Be there to help us decide.
Youth Sunday: Next week the Youth are helping serve and lead for Sunday worship. We ask that all Youth meet at FLC by 9:30 to review roles and responsibilities.
Youth Updates: Do you want Youth updates through e-mail? If so, please e-mail Joe at firstname.lastname@example.org to be included on our news and events e-mail list. You can also watch the bulletin, the FLC web site, the Youth Facebook page, and the FLARE for more information.
