Compassion Sunday April 24th "...if you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like the noonday." Isaiah 58:10

Outreach Ministries highlights Compassion every spring to seek sponsors for children living in poverty. It is one way we can share from our abundant blessings and lift up a child's spiritual, physical, emotional and educational well being in Jesus' name. We will again have pictures of children who need sponsors so prayerfully consider this.......................a child is waiting for you.

The home will be located in the Elk Heights location, with plans to break ground on April 23. There are many opportunities for Thrivent members to make a contribution and have their efforts counted toward meeting grant requirements. Build days are on Saturdays. Providing meals, snacks or beverages count toward volunteer hours also. Food items would be delivered to the Ellensburg Habitat store.
