Advent Service of Lessons and Carols, Grace Episcopal Church 1201 N. B St. Today, Sunday, Dec 14th at 3pm. This wonderful ecumenical worship service has been happening in Ellensburg since 1988. This service was first presented at King’s College, Cambridge in 1918. The congregation joins in singing many Christmas carols. Choirs from a number of churches, including First Lutheran, sing separately and then as a combined choir. Pastors from different churches read the scripture lessons and a whole host of scrumptious cookies await you at the fellowship time afterwards. Come early to find parking and seating, as it is usually a full house.

Youth Activities

A fun filled weekend is coming up for the youth!

Saturday, December 20th, we will have our cookie/cocoa/white elephant gift exchange! 5p.m. to 7 p.m. (I know the board says 6 pm!). Bring two plates of cookies - one for us and one to give out while caroling on Sunday. White Elephant gifts cost $5 or less! Don't forget we will have a cocoa bar!!

Sunday, December 21st, we will be caroling with Pastor and a few others to all of our home-bound congregation members. We will also be delivering the cookies brought the night before! The best part of this event is seeing the joy on member's faces as we come through the door! We will leave after a light lunch served at the church.

Don't forget our mitten/scarf tree!!!! It's looking a bit too green for my taste and we need much more knit glam. Hats are welcome too.
