Community Christmas Basket:
This year we are once again asking for monetary donations which will be given to the Community Christmas Basket Program. Thrivent will match all monetary donations up to $1,000, thereby doubling what is given! Look for a Thrivent officer at a table in the fellowship hall on Dec. 2, 9, and 16 or you may place your check in the offering plate.
Please make any checks payable to:”First Lutheran” with “Christmas Basket” on the memo line so your donation can be matched dollar-for-dollar. The money collected will be used to purchase needed food and gift items for the baskets. If we can collect up to $1,000, we will be able to give $2,000 to this valuable community program!
We also would like to thank the quilters for their donations of quilts to the Christmas Baskets.
