Caroling to our home-bound members. Today, Sunday Dec 22nd after worship, we will have a light lunch and then pile into cars to sing Christmas carols to our home-bound members.

All ages, including youth, are cordially invited to join in and share a little Christmas cheer with our brothers and sisters in Christ who can’t get out much anymore. We’ll visit several of the care facilities in town as well as some private homes.

Pastor Dennis will be on vacation December 26th– January 3. Pastor Mary Johnson will be preaching on December 29th.

There will be no Sunday School classes for children and youth or Adults on Dec. 22 or 29 during Christmas break. Classes will resume Sunday, Jan. 5.

Christmas Eve Candlelight communion worship services are at 7 and 10p.m.

Annual Reports are due by January 13th. If you chair a ministry or head up a group within FLC, please submit a brief written report to the church office by Monday, January 13th. These will be included in our annual report packet which we will have available for people to read on Sunday, January 19th. This is a good way to celebrate the many wonderful ministries which happen through FLC. It doesn’t have to be long. Just tell us what you do and who you work with.

Flower Chart: We have a new flower chart up in the Fellowship Hall. If you are celebrating a special day and you would like to bring flowers for the altar, please sign up.

Thank you to the women of First Lutheran Church for contributing $600 from the rummage sale to Pastor’s contingency fund. Dennis uses this to help needy people with bus tickets, a motel room for the night and other needs.

And a big thank you to Laurae Lygre, Carla Bergman, and all the kids and musicians for the wonderful “Christmas Jubilee” program last Sunday, December 15th!

A huge thank you to everyone who helped out with the Scandinavian Potluck Dinner on Wednesday, December 11th. It was a wonderful and festive event!
