Thank you to Judy Ragland for playing the organ today.

Thank you to Marilyn Wilbanks for leading rehearsal this week.

We have been praying for Blair Scheib. He has been stationed in the Middle East. This was his third deployment. He landed back in the states Sunday night. His family would like to thank our congregation for holding him up in prayer. Blair has mentioned to me more than once that he felt those prayers everyday he was there. Thank you for being the faithful servant in praying for our military men & women.

Munch Madness: It’s that time again, for the annual munch madness giving to FISH Food Bank. Our first weigh in is Friday, February 24th. You are welcome to bring food in during office hours all week, Monday-Thursday 8:30a-noon. Carrots, onions, rice, beans, oranges, apples, juice, flour and sugar are some great examples of heavy foods that you can bring to add a little more weight to our count. A list of needed items is available on the FISH Box in the Fellowship Hall.

First Communion Classes Sundays Feb 26 & March 5 after worship. I am inviting all young people in about 3rd grade or older to two classes on the Lord’s Supper. I will leave it up to parents as to when you think your child is ready to receive holy communion. The book we use, “A Place for You” by Pastor Dan Erlander is written at about a 3rd grade reading level. We will also look up some Bible passages and each student is asked to create a first communion project out of paper/clay/fabric/wood/legos/paint or just about anything.

If there are students older than 4th grade, who are not yet receiving the bread and wine of the Lord’s Supper, but would like to, you are certainly welcome to join in. The plan would be for students to receive their first communion on March 12th, or any time after that.

Make up Photography Dates March 5 & 12 If you were not able to have your picture taken back in October/November for our church photo wall, please plan to do so on Sundays, March 5 or 12 after worship. Randy Uhl will be snapping photos in the fellowship hall and we hope to have everyone’s smiling face.
