Church Phone Directory Update: Do you have a new address, phone number, or other changes? If so, please stop by the free-standing bulletin board in the Fellowship Hall to make the changes for our 2015 directory. The annual publication isn’t just for members, but for members and friends of First Lutheran Church. If you don’t see your name and would like to be in the directory, please add your name to the list. Please put a check mark, next to your name to show that you have checked to make sure that your information is correct. Please feel free to add your email address if you would like it included in the directory. Thank you!

F.I.S.H. BENEFIT CONCERT: The Sparrow Singers and the Chance Brothers will share the stage for a F.I.S.H. benefit concert on March 13th at Mercer Creek Church. The program theme isSongs of the West. Lee Bates, director, is seeking additional singers for this program of cowboy songs. Tenors are especially needed! The choir rehearses on Tuesday evenings at the First Presbyterian Church from 7:00-9:00. The commitment would include just four rehearsals in addition to the March 13th performance. Contact Lee Bates at 509-925-2343 or email: lrbates3@fairpoint.net, if you are able to help out for this important benefit event. Or, just show up at rehearsal. You’re guaranteed to have a great time making music for a worthy cause.

F.I.S.H. News and Needs: Our sponsoring churches are playing a huge role in FISH's recovery, and we thank you! Specific item needs at this time include paper products: paper towels, napkins, and sturdy paper plates for the FISH Diner, and toilet paper, diapers, and tissue for our clients. Thank you for helping us!

“Walk to Jerusalem” Join the First Lutheran church; disciples, friends, co-workers as we “Walk to Jerusalem” from now through April 4th (the Saturday before Easter) some 6,875miles. Each mile you walk, run, jog, or bike counts toward our goal. You can also earn 1 mile for each 20 minutes of aerobic activity. If you or someone you know might be interested in joining our group you may obtain a Walk to Jerusalem flyer, a personal Tracking sheet, and share in weekly bible verses, devotion, questions to ponder by signing up via our new email address flcwalk@gmail.com or by getting the information from the church office. Each Saturday send your miles for the week to the email address or text it to 678-493-7300 or drop it off at the church in the Stewardship mailbox. This is a great way to become more physically fit, to grow in your spiritual journey, and mature as a steward in God’s kingdom.

Week # 3 Update. We now have 30 people signed up and participating in our first “Walk to Jerusalem” sponsored by the Stewardship ministry team at First Lutheran Ellensburg, WA. We have now traveled 931 miles and are just east of Rapids City, SD in the Badlands National Park. We still have a long way to go in the remaining 7 weeks to make it to Jerusalem by April 4th (the Saturday before Easter) so invite others to join our journey and help us reach our goal. We have attached the devotion/bibles verses in Word (for weeks 1-3) and made it a part of the email body for this upcoming week 4. If you have a preference as to how best to include it please let me know. Also, there are some different formats for these and if you have a preference let me know as well.

Peace, Mike
