The Wednesday Soup and Bread Supper will be hosted this week by members of the Youth & Education Ministries. Please join us at 6:00 p.m. for a delicious meal followed by a study session and the Holden Evening Prayer Service.

All at First Lutheran are invited to a Tuesday noontime Lenten video presentation and discussion group on Tuesdays from 12:00 to 1:00 at Grace Episcopal Church. We will be using the book and video "Making Sense of the Cross" by David Lose. David Lose is a professor at Luther Seminary. Bring a sack lunch if you wish, and plan to attend all or some of the sessions, every Tuesday during Lent. The book "Making Sense of the Cross" by David Lose is available through Amazon or Augsburg Fortress.

Youth Event Schedule: The new March/April Event Schedules are available. Please pick one up and keep up with what’s going on with the Youth.

Lenten Youth Nights: During Lent we’ll continue our normal schedule of Wednesday Youth Nights... with a couple changes. First, we start a little later. And, more importantly, we’re inviting middle school students to join the high school for the season.

Come for Wednesday night “Bread and Soup” at 6:00 p.m. during Lent. When we begin study and Holden worship (usually around 6:45), Youth are invited to a brief study and game time.

Games? We hope to end each Youth Night during Lent with a game, so we need game leaders. If you’re interested in leading a game (Youth, or adults who want to join us), please sign up on the gym door.

Game Night: If you’re returning from Spring Break and need one last night of play, this is the event for you. FLC Youth will host a game night on Friday, March 23. We’ll have ping-pong, board games, open gym, a movie or video games, and lots of ice cream. All Youth — or anyone who likes hanging out with the Youth — are invited. 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. (Come late or leave early if you have other plans). And, with a church full of Youth, we’ll need a few adult volunteers to join us.

Youth Updates: Do you want Youth updates through e-mail? If so, please e-mail Joe at to be included on our news and events e-mail list. You can also watch the bulletin, the FLC web site, the Youth Facebook page, and the FLARE for more information.
