A big thank you to all choir members, Tor and Betty for their faithfulness in bringing us their offerings in music each week. We’ll look forward to more in the fall. Choir rehearsals will resume on September 29th.

Today’s flowers are given in loving memory of Ian Smith upon the two-year anniversary of his “flight” into the heavenly kingdom. All praise and thanks to God the Father, for His gift of eternal life.

Congratulations to our graduating High School Seniors: Claire Luvera, Maya Swan, Patrick Lease, Marcus Michel, Taylor Smith and Rachel Gruber. Please join them for cake after worship today!

Constitution Update: We have already received our revised constitution back from the Synod and with a few very minor changes it looks good. The next step is to have a congregational meeting to approve it. We don’t want to rush anyone on this (there’s no hurry), so please look it over during May and the summer. It’s on our website or paper copies are available in the office. The Council proposes a discussion meeting on Sunday, September 25th with perhaps a vote on Sunday, October 9th. Thanks again to Neil Caulkins, Mike Krekling, Sheila Johnson and David Lygre for their work on the constitution and by-laws.

Tanzania Visit: Barbara and Earl Tilly from Grace Lutheran in Wenatchee traveled earlier this year with others in our Synod to visit the Ulanga Kilombero Diocese in our Companion Synod in Tanzania. If you are interested in learning more about their adventure and their interactions with our sisters and brothers in Africa, their very interesting letter is posted on the Outreach bulletin board in the Fellowship Hall.
