THIS IS THE DAY! - Bread for the World Offering of Letters!
Bread for the World invites us to invest a few minutes today to write our people in Congress, urging their support of policies and legislation to fight hunger at home and abroad! More than telephone calls, more than petition signatures, our brief, personal, signed statements have an impact in Washington. A model letter, names, addresses and writing materials await you at tables in Fellowship Hall. Step up; speak up!
Parable Film Festival: During the Sunday school hour (9–9:45) on May 21, the Youth will present short films they have written, starred in, and created. Each film is a re-imagined version of one of Jesus’ parables. All are invited. Refreshments will be available. Warning: there may be zombies.
Choir Party, May 18th 6p.m. at Kramlich’s house. Please bring a hot dish, salad or dessert to share.
At our Eastern Washington/Idaho Synod Assembly May 19-21 in Spokane, we will be electing a new bishop. These 6 candidates remail: Dave Kappus, Kristen Kuempel, Paul Palumbo, Peg Harvey-Morose, Mike Sager and Matthew Erickson. May the Holy Spirit guide us to elect the right person for the office.
Wednesday: Family Fun Night! It's superhero night and we are ready to show off some superpowers! Come make your cape, learn your superpower name, and get ready for lots of fun. All ages start at 4:30 p.m.! Dinner at 5:45 p.m.! Serious games and sardines start at 6:30 p.m.!

We are collecting supplies to make more Homeless Care Kits. This month we are collecting toothbrushes, toothpaste, and nail clippers.
Yo Seniors: Pictures are coming in and the senior side of the board looks great. Your special recognition is Sunday is June 4th and we are all excited. Know that your fellow Youth members congratulate and admire you!
