The sanctuary looks incredibly homey during November. The quilters are having their annual Quilt Sale November 6-8. We will open the church to 10 people at a time. Masks and social distancing will be required. Help us celebrate the hard work of the quilters.

We look forward to seeing you all at the Quilt Sale and it’s never too soon to start thinking about Christmas gifts.

Our 2020 FLC OFFERING OF “LETTERS” is reshaped, but not cancelled (!), by the Corona virus pandemic. Hunger persists and expands, in our country and abroad; for example, Yemen may lose 500.000 children to starvation. In this time of serious drains on our energy and attention, it is up to each one of us to maintain focus and energy to energize our people in congress to wage righteous battle on behalf of the hungry.

TOOLS ARE AVAILABLE: Please take from the OUTREACH bulletin board your own copies of:

· The Bread for the World document “What is the 2020 Offering of Letters About?”

· Contact information (mail, telephone, email) for Senators Party Murray and Maria Cantwell and for Representative Kim Schreier

· A sample “letter to Congress”, and “Quick Tips for an Effective Letter”

· Visit “Bread.Org” on your computer, and explore!

ACT: Create your messages to congress; get them off by November 20. The church office will stamp and mail your letters if you wish. Please tell the office how many messages you send; this is useful information for Bread for the World!
