Stewardship Sunday, November 17, 2019

Join us for brunch after worship

This is the time of year the Stewardship Ministry conducts the Time & Talent Survey and the 2020 Financial Pledge Campaign. What can we tell you about stewardship at First Lutheran? You are the hands that tend flower gardens, fill the communion plates, distribute the wine and bread at communion, hand out the Sunday bulletins, share a cup of coffee, repair drippy faucets, operate the sound system, offer a handshake in greeting, or prepare a meal. You are the voices that make a joyful noise to the Lord, teach Sunday school lessons and Confirmation and Bible studies; that offer prayer and thanksgiving and witness to God’s grace mercy in this challenging world. You are vessels of the Holy Spirit as God works in, around and through you. Pledge cards and Time & Talent surveys will be available Sunday, November 17th at church or you may contact the church office to have a packet mailed to you. Give prayerful thought of what and where you can give to continue the congregational life here at First Lutheran Church. What we give back is an extension of our love for the Creator, all that he has created, and all that he has given us. We thank God for your hearts, and hands, and voices.
