Confirmation Sunday is next Sunday, October 28th: Lydia Blaisdell, Kathryn Merten, Hannah Campbell & Kassidy Winter have completed their work on the Bible, Apostle’s Creed, 10 Commandments and Lord’s Prayer with Pastor Dennis. They are now ready to Affirm their Baptisms by the Rite of Confirmation. Come hear their faith statements and celebrate them with a piece of cake after worship!

New Members Classes Nov. 4, 11 Dec. 2, 9 Sundays after worship in the chapel. Anyone who is interested in joining First Lutheran Church, or simply wants a little refresher on what Lutherans believe and do is invited to attend these four classes after Sunday worship services, in the chapel. We’ll meet for an hour or less with Pastor Dennis and read together Dan Erlander’s book, “Baptized We Live.” Please plan on attending all four classes if you can. It’s a great time to ask questions and get to know some of your brothers and sisters in Christ.

Rummage Sale Update: The final deposit made shows our grand total was $3,060.00! That is only $11 short of our all time high! All donations go to worthy charities. FLCWomen can be very proud. I’d like to thank everyone for being so involved. From donations, cashiers, pies & soups, kitchen and clean up crews, sorters and pickup drivers, it takes a lot of people to make this happen. A Special Thank You to Carla and Christine who keep this rummage sale fun for me. Linda Strand
